Background

TC4K was born out of our own family’s journey through trauma, PTSD, foster care, and adoption. Having experienced the deep pain and healing process firsthand, we felt God calling us to create a space where children impacted by trauma could feel safe, supported, and truly seen.

What began as small, simple cooking classes with a few kids quickly grew into something more. As more children joined in, parents began connecting with one another, forming their own support groups during the kids’ sessions. God was clearly moving, growing a community of healing, love, and hope right in our midst.

Our Mission

At the heart of everything we do is a God-centered mission: to create connection, healing, and purpose for children who have experienced trauma. We also welcome
volunteers from the broader community—those with a heart for our mission and a desire to share their talents through activities like art, cooking, music, movement, and
more.

At TC4K, we believe healing happens through community—and that God uses relationships, creativity, and shared experience to restore what trauma has tried to steal. Together, we are building something sacred: a place where kids can grow, heal, and belong.
